The project

Local Legends Eats approached us to wrap their newly upgraded food truck — transforming it into a mobile advertising unit with bold colour, strong identity, and visibility across events and roadside setups. Standing at approximately 2.5m tall, the vehicle presented a large, complex surface with multiple hatches, vents, utility points and service doors. This required careful artwork scaling, print alignment, and installation sequencing to maintain graphic flow across moving and segmented panels.

The result is a striking full wrap that carries the brand confidently wherever it operates.

The brief

Food trucks introduce more wrap complexity than standard vehicles, with numerous vents, hatches, window sections and removable panels — each requiring custom trimming and independent alignment. Maintaining uninterrupted graphic flow across these surfaces was critical to avoid visual breaks and ensure the brand read smoothly at distance.

What we did

We produced the wrap using Avery 2904 + DOL 2000 laminate, chosen for long-term UV stability and outdoor durability. The design was split into controlled print panels, then applied with staged heat forming to recesses and door edges — preserving continuity even when sections are opened during service. From close range or across a crowd, the branding remains consistent, bold and unmistakable. • Prepared artwork for large-scale printing with colour matched branding • Printed on Avery 2904 vinyl and protected with DOL 2000 gloss laminate • Panel-planned layout to ensure seamless alignment across doors and openings • Wrapped full truck exterior excluding roof (left bare for practicality) • Heat-formed to curves, vents, recesses, seams and service hatches • Completed installation in controlled workshop environment

• Large-format panel printing • Gloss laminate application • Full surface prep + degrease • Heat-forming around vents & recesses • Alignment across multiple service doors • Panel-based application workflow

Outcome

The upgrade massively increased roadside and event visibility. What was once a plain truck is now a mobile billboard — high contrast, recognisable, and attention-grabbing in markets, festivals and street service environments. The wrap acts as an active marketing tool rather than a vehicle — delivering ongoing brand exposure every time it’s on the road.
