Two skins of aluminium bonded around a polyethylene core. The result is a flat, dimensionally stable panel that holds visual graphics like a printed sheet and survives Auckland weather like a building material. The default substrate for almost every flat exterior sign we install.
The graphic. Cast vinyl applied to the panel face, sealed and laminated where the photographic content warrants it. Cuts cleanly to logo edges, holds colour across Auckland UV, and survives full sun exposure for the design life of the panel.
The protective layer over the print face. Sealed UV-rated film bonded to the vinyl surface — extends the face graphic life from a 3-4 year cycle to a 7-10 year cycle, and gives the finished panel a controlled matte or gloss surface depending on the install context.
How it stays on the building. Mechanical fixings into masonry or steel, stand-offs for direct-mount, or a powder-coated aluminium sub-frame for ventilated facades. We engineer the spec to wind load and substrate.

Face graphics 7-10 years, the panel itself 15+ years. The polyethylene core and aluminium skins are good for the life of the building facade. What ages is the printed face — we coat vinyl with UV-rated face laminate which is rated for full sun under Auckland UV close to Brisbane's. For coastal Auckland (Hibiscus Coast or out east) we drop panels from a 5-7 year cycle to a 4-5 year cycle.
