Project Overview
We installed a set of printed and cut vinyl door graphics for Rodney Aluminium, a local family-owned joinery business.
The goal was to create a simple, modern and uncluttered entry point that improves visibility from the street, while also providing customers with clear information the moment they arrive — hours, branding, and contact details.
The layout was supplied via one of our design partners, giving the final graphic package a clean structural balance that aligned with the company’s existing visual identity.
Brand colours and text were output using Avery MPI2015 paired with DOL 2000 laminate, ensuring long-term clarity and UV resistance. The combination of print + cut allowed us to maintain crisp edges and a premium finish across the glass without overpowering the entry.
Installation was completed after-hours to avoid business interruption, requiring additional care due to cooler air temperature and glass surface thermal retention. We carried out a full clean, degrease and dry-prep before application to ensure optimal adhesion in controlled conditions.
Brief & Challenge
Glass installs at lower night temperatures can compromise bonding if rushed.
We slowed application speed, ensured glass was conditioned properly, and verified adhesion edge-to-edge to avoid lift during early cure.
What we did
The compact branding package reads clearly from footpath distance and guides customers seamlessly to the main entry.
The glazing remains open and modern, while the branding is present, visible and professional.

Outcome
The upgraded entrance now presents Rodney Aluminium with a clean, functional and polished identity — readable, durable, and proportionally light enough to complement the glazing beneath it.
