Project Overview
We produced a pair of pull-up banners for MTF Finance’s national marketing team, built for use during large-scale community and tradie engagement events across Auckland. The goal was to create a display piece that delivered strong brand presence, matched national colour standards, and could be transported easily between sites and branches without wear or distortion.
Artwork was supplied by MTF’s marketing department and aligned with national brand guidelines, including updated palette, fin graphic structure and typographic hierarchy. Our focus was to reproduce the artwork at high density with clean colour accuracy so the banners remained consistent with the wider fleet and branch presentation nationwide.
Brief & Challenge
The pull-ups needed to be portable, repeatedly reusable and visually crisp, with no edge curl or substrate memory over time.
Because they would be shared between branches and transported frequently, durability and rigidity were prioritised over ultra-light weight materials.
What we did
We printed on a thick pull-up-grade banner film, chosen for excellent stiffness, opacity and clean lay-flat properties. The substrate allowed the banners to hold shape without lamination and without curling at the sides. Both units were assembled, tension-tested, and fully rolled and redeployed prior to pickup — ensuring flawless setup at their first event and every use thereafter.
The result is a professional, brand-accurate display solution that delivers presence without setup complexity.
• Print production of two full-colour pull-up banners
• Output via VG3-640 ecosolvent printer for brand-match colour density
• Trimmed edges, double-fold reinforced ends + taped finish
• Installed into aluminium pull-up hardware with tension rail
• Full assembly, test pull + roll verification prior to hand-over
• Supplied with reinforced carry cases for rotation across branches
Materials
• Pull-up banner film — rigid, curl-resistant
• Aluminium pull-up base systems
• Reinforced padded carry cases for transport
Processes
• VG3-640 ecosolvent wide-format print
• Manual trim + double-fold and tape finish
• Assembly into pull-up hardware
• Full deployment + re-roll test prior to pickup
Outcome
The banners have since been used across multiple MTF branches and events, including Tradie Breakfast activations, foyer displays, and customer touch-points throughout the retail network.Instead of being single-use, the pair continues to function as a rotating promotional asset, reducing replacement cost while maintaining strong brand presentation wherever deployed.
Premium visibility, portable format, long service life.
