Project Overview
Fabric Digital approached us with a clean building front, but no external identity or directional signage. The goal was to introduce strong brand visibility to both main road frontages and guide visitors to the correct entry point without confusion.
We installed four large-format exterior signs — two elevations, two signs per elevation — using gloss black ACM cladding overlays and layered white vinyl graphics to deliver a simple but striking contrast finish. Entry points were reinforced with branded door vinyls to complete a coherent visual path from street to reception.
Brief & Challenge
The building sat on a high-traffic street but lacked presence, with no signage to anchor the brand or direct visitors. Visibility was needed from multiple angles, and parking + street trees restricted direct positioning, meaning both design and placement needed to work around existing physical constraints.
What we did
We produced a dual-elevation signage system using Avery 700 Gloss Black as the fascia background, then applied Avery 700 White plotted graphics to form a crisp, high-contrast identity visible from road level and passing traffic.
At the opposite end of the building, we installed a stacked ACM board — again black-faced with white lettering — giving the building a second viewing axis, critical for visibility from the perpendicular street. Once external branding was in place, internal wayfinding was finalised through subtle but clear door and entry graphics.
• Installed four external signs across two sides of the building
• Full-span ACM fascia vinyl overlay (~7.2m x 1m) with layered white graphics
• Secondary stacked ACM sign with black face wrap + white cut lettering
• Branded entry pathway using window/frosting logo elements
• Wrapped main stairwell door black and vertically applied brand mark
• Complete wayfinding chain from roadside → front door
Materials
• Avery 700 Gloss Black fascia overlay• Avery 700 White plotted lettering
• 4mm ACM board (secondary stacked sign)
• Laminated entry vinyl logo
• Staged multi-surface installation materials
Processes
• Plotter-cut vinyl production + layering
• ACM wrapping + fascia overlay
• High-elevation install via cherry picker (~5m height)
• Obstacle navigation around parking + tree lines
• Front door wrap + branded wayfinding finish
Outcome
The building now communicates Fabric Digital’s presence confidently from both viewing directions, and visitors can locate the correct entry without hesitation. The final install forms a complete visual chain — roadside identity, pathway reinforcement, door branding — resulting in a cohesive, recognisable office presence where previously there was none.
